Casual Resident Forms and a price list can be found on the dresser at the bottom of the stairway at 346. Show these forms to guests that want to stay and make sure they fill out the form and put the money in the bags provided. Money and forms need to end up in the office, however they can be slid first under the door of the pantry. One of the keyholders will take care of them then.

Every time a potential resident, WWOOFer or Guest wants to stay at Digger Street the current residents will confer and decide (vote if needed) if that person(s) can stay. This includes all previous residents.

Guests of Residents

When you have guests at Digger Street, you must be responsible for where they stay or sleep. You are also responsible for letting them know the rates applicable to their stay, as well as to inform of and ask them to accept the code of conduct

One-off overnight stays are not expected to pay as the general rule is that you may have guests stay for two nights at no charge in your own room. Guest staying more than 2 nights, even if separated by breaks, are responsible for contributing the required 3 day rate. They are also expected to contribute 1hr daily to the communal systems, spaces & gardens, as well as keeping the communal areas of the house in which they stay clean.

It would be ideal if guests paid in advance like everyone else, and should there be any outstanding payments, it is the resident who invited the guest that is to settle the payment.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for any money outstanding for your guest’s stay
