The T-House Community is all about Collaboration, Co-living anf Co-working.

Each person plays an important role of being a concious being in the project. It is a learning space, and we learn by doing.  If we do not have Community and Project Collaboration the wheels stop turning and the project seizes to move forward. Team work is vital in the success of a T-House.

In an environment where people can play and explore their inner desires while working together with others and having the support they need, you see people transform and become more aware and concious of their surroundings. Communities thrive through creation. People generate value by building something from nothing, and T-House empowers people to do just that.

T-House is an exciting development in the maker space movement. We offer three unique areas for our community members to create in. These include the:

  • Plant Makers - A tropical community garden designed on the tenants of permaculture
  • Food Makers - A vegetarian kitchen stocked with food purchased from ethical, sustainable sources
  • Tech Makers - A tech-savvy environment for hacking and developing hardware, software, and mechanical wonders

T-House is a radically inclusive environment, and we invite everyone to get involved. So, whether you live in Cairns or are simply passing through, come check out the T-House.

Come and check out the T-House at 346 Sheridan Street, Cairns North.

It's just a 25 min walk from town or

you can catch the local buses 110, 111 & 114.

Just jump off at the Mobil service station on Sheridan Street and we are directly across the road.

Right next door is the tropical community garden. This is one of our ongoing projects. We are farming a wide range of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices.

We have a focus on Nutrition, Tech, Arts, Sustainablity, Community Living, Process Documentation, Self Expression, Radical Inclusion & Sourcing Local. Check out the T-house Principles inspired by the Burning Man culture. We intergrate these principles in everyday living whether through lifestyle choices or ongoing projects on site.

Our goals are: to become increasingly self sustainable & to raise our communitys interest & knowledge of permaculture in urban spaces, nutrution & sustainability.

We all work together in the garden and we love it if anyone puts their hands up to help us, there is always something to do or someone to help! So dont feel shy to come and get your hands dirty!
